1.1 About Us

New Seven Trading Inc., (NSTI) a corporation duly organized under the laws of Japan engaged in the business of ship, management, brokerage and trading Since 1983.  Its’ clients include Several Domestic and International Shipping Companies.  With the continuous changes being put in place within the maritime industry the management team of (NSTI) had the vision to fulfill a vacuum that was present in the maritime industry in Cebu City.  The Queen City of the South had maritime training centers aplenty; however, in this cacophony of institutions providing basic and advanced courses for the numerous seafarers, there was still a niche that needs to be satisfied.

In August of 2003, Philasia Maritime Services Training Center, Inc (PMSTCI) was born. Founded by the late Capt. Restituto R. Sablas, MM and spearheaded by its’ dynamic and youthful President, Ms. Jeanette L. Sablas fresh from the overseas assignment and armed with the most updated and comprehensive insights in maritime training, PMSTCI is now in the forefront of the maritime training center in Cebu.

Today, PMSTCI is ISO 9001:2015 certified by the Bureau Veritas and now one of the biggest; if not the best training center in the whole of the Visayas and Mindanao.  The second branch was born two (2) months after the opening of Philasia Maritime Services Training Center Inc., on October 22, 2003. This is the result of the partnership of the biggest Maritime School in Ozamiz City, Misamis University.  This caters to all seafarers in Mindanao.  Due to this merging Philasia Ozamiz branch was certified to Det Norske Veritas Rules for Maritime Academies.

Ms. Jeanette L. Sablas is presently the Charter President of the Maritime Training Center Association of Cebu Inc., (MTCACI) leading the maritime training into its highest standards together with her continued support and commitment to uplift the maritime training nationwide.

1.2 Licenses in the Philippines

PMSTCI is duly authorized under the existing Philippine laws and was granted renewal of our MARINA Certificate of Course Approval Numbers ACC 2019-149, ACC 2019-150, ACC 2020-37, ACC 2021-14, ACC 2021-055, ACC 2022-024, ACC 2022-024, ACC 2022-025 & ACC 2022-026.
